This would be a really good method for the dollars but it is so lacking in countless areas that it is not usable for me. To get started with the manual is written in such broken English it leaves out needed actions, but can be figured out as you go.
My biggest complaint is with the entry/exist time delay and the secondary crucial pad. The principal controller is generally a table best unit, so a thief could come in smash the unit in a quantity of seconds and that would be the finish of your security. I wanted to hide the unit and use an additional crucial pad to arm/disarm the unit located near the entry. The problem with the secondary pad is, you cannot tell if the technique is armed or not, no lights etc. If I open the door, I want to know by seeking at the pad if the method was armed by my wife. Otherwise you are entering a 4 digit code, plus plus three each time you come via the door. Also the entry delay can be set according to the book from 00-30 minutes. Also be conscious that this enterprise presents $20 for a five star rating. That could possibly be smart promoting, but does not sit nicely with me.
I spent time researching "unmonitored" alarm systems in order to save the monthly expense of monitoring. This item seemed to present the most worth for the money. I was a tiny apprehensive mainly because of some evaluations that indicated the instructions were hard to adhere to. In addition to the V500 series I ordered a water sensor and the 360 degree motion sensor from the AASalarms.com site. The 360 degree sensor was not quite constructed and the water alarm did not contain activation instructions. I have returned both of the add-ons for a refund.
Through installation and in the course of returning many items I named the distributer five instances. Three occasions they answered the phone and the other two I reached a voice recording. They had been fairly responsive and returned my calls inside 24 hours. I would invest in this item again and would advise it to others looking for a safety system. The seller does present two no cost items for ALL reviews, not just those rated 5 star. I do not see their totally free give as creating biased feedback.
